Electric Bus System
Budget 2083 mandates replacement of diesel public buses with electric vehicles on Kathmandu Valley's major routes. Charging infrastructure to be built at major bus stops. Pokhara also gets electric bus system. This aligns with Nepal's electricity surplus strategy — use hydropower domestically before exporting.
Bagmati River Corridor
Rs. 4 arba 19 crore for Bagmati River corridor: comprehensive sewage treatment, riverbank beautification, cycling and walking paths, and green parks. Dhalko-Chobhar section prioritised first.
Mid-Hill Urban Development
Rs. 1 arba 93 crore for 12 cities along the Pushpalal Mid-hill Highway — transforming them into identified urban centres with proper planning, infrastructure, and connectivity.
