Arogya Paryatan — Health Tourism
Nepal has a natural advantage for health tourism: clean mountain air, established Ayurvedic tradition, relatively low-cost high-quality medical care, and world-class natural environments for recovery. "Arogya Paryatan" packages will combine trekking, yoga, Ayurveda treatments, and wellness retreats for international health tourists — targeting particularly the high-spending Indian and Chinese wellness tourism markets.
EU Aviation Safety — Why It Matters
Nepal was on the EU's aviation safety concern list, meaning EU carriers couldn't fly to Nepal and Nepali carriers couldn't fly to Europe. Removal from this list opens the European tourism market — adding millions of potential high-spending tourists. The budget allocates resources for CAAN (Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal) to meet ICAO standards fully.
